Costs

 

The cost of sessions is dependent on the type of professional you see. Each individual practitioner sets their own rates, below is a guideline for people that are self funding their treatment, please check the costs before commencing treatment.

 

Psychotherapist:

 

Initial assessment: £90.00 - £120.00

Follow up: £75.00 - £120.00

 

Clinical or Counselling Psychologist:

 

Initial assessment: £100.00 - £140.00

Follow up: £90.00 - £140.00

 

Consultant Psychiatrist:

 

Initial assessment: £300.00 - £450.00, depending on the length of the assessment. Cost includes report sent to the patient's GP

Follow up: £150.00 for 30 minutes and £300.00 for an hour

Counsellor:

 

Initial assessment: £50.00 - £75.00

Follow up: £50.00 - £75.00

 

 

Private Medical Insurance

 

All are Consultant Psychiatrists are covered by the majority of Private Insurance Companies such as BUPA, AXA PPP, Cygna, Simply Health, AVIVA, Vitality and Pru Health. It is recommended contacting your healthcare provider to check the level of cover and to obtain an authorisation number prior to attending the appointment.
